Problematic file permissions on the /Library/Application Support/MindVision folder can cause problems during activation of our products. You may receive the very rare E_ACTIVATESN_FINALIZATION_ERROR (-25011) . The user installating our products must have write permissions for the /Library/Application Support/MindVision folder as well as all files within this folder. Please follow the steps below to repair your file permissions: -Using the Finder, select the /Library/Application Support/MindVision folder, and choose File > Get Info. -If the Sharing & Permissions pane is not visible, click the disclosure triangle to show it. -Click the lock icon, type your administrator user name and password, and click OK. -Set all three permissions popups to 'Read & Write' (for your user, admin, and everyone) -Apply the same permissions to every item contained in the MindVision folder, open the Action (gear) menu and choose "Apply to enclosed items." -Click the lock icon again to prevent further changes. -Close the Get Info window and re-open it to make sure that the new 'Read & Write' permissions are still set correctly.
NOTE that this folder is in the general /Library folder, not the
user's ~/Library folder! There are certain cases where the
/Library/Application Support/MindVision cannot be created and in those
cases the folder is created in the User's ~/Library/Application
Support/MindVision. If this still does not work, you may try to update the eSellerate engine library by downloading it from http://www.esellerate.net/esellerate_update.asp This tool will reseet all permissions on these folders and install the latest engine update.
