Use a CD Jewel Case as a Frame

Here are step by step instructions on how to use a standard CD Jewel case as a stand for a HappyNewYear! calendar.

Note: you need to choose the standard CD jewel case calendar format for your calendar to be able to display it in a standard CD jewel case. Click here for more information about different HappyNewYear! calendar formats.

Print the calendar pages with HappyNewYear!

Use your color printer to print the calendar pages
The print area for a month is 4.75" x 4.75", which is the size of a standard CD jewel case
For best results, use high-quality photo paper compatible with your printer

Cut out the calendar pages

Use a paper cutter, razor and cutting mat, or scissors to trim the calendar pages

Take apart a CD jewel case

Use a case with a clear, clean cover
Be careful not to break the plastic tabs from the cover

Reattach the CD jewel case cover

Turn the cover around and put it back onto the bottom part of the CD jewel case backwards
Be careful not to break the plastic tabs from the cover
Flip the cover over to create the calendar stand

Slide the calendar pages into the CD jewel case cover
