Here are step by step instructions on how to use a standard CD Jewel case as a stand for a HappyNewYear! calendar.

Note: you need to choose the standard CD jewel case calendar format for your calendar to be able to display it in a standard CD jewel case. Click here for more information about different HappyNewYear! calendar formats.


Print the calendar pages with HappyNewYear!

Howto_printer
  • Use your color printer to print the calendar pages
  • The print area for a month is 4.75" x 4.75", which is the size of a standard CD jewel case
  • For best results, use high-quality photo paper compatible with your printer

Cut out the calendar pages

  • Use a paper cutter, razor and cutting mat, or scissors to trim the calendar pages

Take apart a CD jewel case

  • Use a case with a clear, clean cover
  • Be careful not to break the plastic tabs from the cover

Reattach the CD jewel case cover

  • Turn the cover around and put it back onto the bottom part of the CD jewel case backwards
  • Be careful not to break the plastic tabs from the cover
  • Flip the cover over to create the calendar stand

Slide the calendar pages into the CD jewel case cover

  • You can store future and past months behind the current month
  • Enjoy the calendar!
  • Print more copies for family and friends, or create a new one!
